Animation

Global playback controls and per-parameter animation bars.

Play/Pause

Animation plays automatically when NOISERATOR starts. Use the Play button in the transport bar (or press Space) to pause/resume. All generators with time-based parameters will animate.

Speed Control

The global Speed slider in the transport bar controls animation speed for all generators.

Per-Parameter Animation

Each slider has an animation bar underneath it. Hover over a parameter to reveal the bar:

  • Play / Pause — Toggle animation on this parameter
  • Rewind / Forward — Set animation direction
  • Loop / Ping-Pong — Toggle between one-way loop and back-and-forth
  • Speed — Adjust animation rate (use −/+, /2, x2 buttons)
  • Clamp handles — Drag the green handles on the slider to limit the animation range
  • Audio icon — Bind this parameter to audio input (see Audio Reactive below)
  • MIDI icon — Map a MIDI controller to this parameter (see MIDI Control below)

This lets you animate individual parameters independently — scale pulsing, offset drifting, opacity fading, etc.

Gradient Colorizer

Map your generator output through a color gradient with multiple projection modes and presets.

Audio Reactive

Bind any parameter to live audio input so visuals respond to music in real time.
