Interface

The four main areas of the NOISERATOR workspace and the top-bar tools.

The workspace has four areas:

  • Generators Panel (left) — Add, remove, and reorder layers
  • Preview Canvas (center) — Real-time preview with 2D and 3D view modes
  • Parameters Panel (right) — Controls for the selected layer and global effects
  • Transport Bar (bottom) — Play/pause animation, resolution, zoom controls

The top bar has the Reset button, Export button, and toggle buttons for Audio (microphone input), MIDI (controller mapping), and Spout (texture sharing, Electron only). Switch between 2D and 3D view modes using the tabs above the canvas. The Custom GLSL tab opens the shader editor. The DROPZONE tab opens Dropzone mode. The nerdGRAPH tab opens the node graph editor.

The ? button in the bottom-right opens this manual.
